In March, I attended Charleston Fashion Week with my blogger friend Maura (crumbsonmycashmere.com). We were there to see my jewelry on the runway but we managed to squeeze in a little fun as well. Jazsalyn McNeil was showing her Fall collection along with other emerging designers. The tents on Marion Square were alive with energy. The "entertainment tent" was filled with a wide assortment of fashionistas sipping cocktails with bass heavy music filling the air. I have attended quite a few shows, but I've never seen a show of this caliber in the south. It was pretty impressive. There were some relatively big names in fashion that attended later in the week, such as Fern Mallis (NY fashion week founder) and Christian Siriano (winner of Project Runway). Jaz's Fall Collection and my jewelry were the perfect match. The part of the collection that I am most proud of is the custom head piece that was created specifically to complement one of her looks. Please enjoy some shots from the first night of Charleston Fashion Week 2013.
